The LORD/JEHOVAH or YHWH/Yahweh?

I have noticed that more and more Christians are using the name YHWH or Yahweh in place of the LORD or JEHOVAH online. Even the bibles, especially KJV, are replacing LORD and JEHOVAH with YHWH or Yahweh.
Example:
In Exodus 6:3
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
has been replaced with:
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name YHWH was I not known to them.
This bothers me.

The deliberate rejection of JEHOVAH by modernists is disturbing.
1. Rejecting the name "JEHOVAH" is to reject proper Protestant tradition and the authority of the King James Bible.
2. Placing another word is done on the flimsy foundation of infidelity, rationalism, modern criticism and the like, which basically means people making up something in the present based on modern hypotheses.
3. The replacement name of "Yahweh" is based on Middle Eastern pagan deities. Also, the whole story of how the sacred name was not spoken by superstitious Jews is itself an unbiblical tradition.
There's a lot of Scripture about the name of the LORD, so those who attack it are doing a very bad thing.

Ouch; which KJV? I'd like to check to keep an eye on that.

I should have made it clear that KJV doesn't change except by those
who did, such as this RNKJV @

Thanks; I sort of thought that it was sold simply as KJV. But I note that it is called RNKJV, RKJV, JHVH, YHVH, YHWV.
They can't even agree amongst themselves what to call the Lord.

Does anyone know where this whole sacred name, proper name thing got it's start? Unbelievers still blaspheme the name of Christ and even give him a middle initial, so if that name was wrong and had no power then why does the enemy still fear it? Quite a few of the Yahshuah, YWHW crowd are also saying we should go back to Sabbath observance and that if you worship on Sunday you are participating in Babylon. I've Worshiped on Friday Saturday and Sunday, (wait; almost forgot) Wednesday too. Is that evil as well? Christ said where 2 or three Gather in his name he is there, he didn't say which day and The Apostle Paul said in Corinthians whatever you observe or don't observe do it as unto the Lord. The gist of that is the "day" doesn't matter as much as the intent of the heart.
I understand not being part of this world system, and staying clean and holy. I always understood that to be accomplished by abiding in Christ and keeping his commandments and then he gave only one which is to love.
What then do you accomplish by embracing this new trend other than a sense of spiritual pride that you are better than Sunday observers and people who still use Jesus as a proper and Holy name. I understand not wanting to observe "easter" or "Christmas" since those are holidays rooted in pagan tradition and the pagan calendar and even celebrating the Biblical holidays in replacement of those holidays.
I see this though as easily becoming a legalism whereby those who differ will be deemed outside the faith and on their way to hell.
All the more reason we should be fasting and praying.
